The European Commission has launched the Call for proposals 2011-2012 in the framework of the European Programme DAPHNE III to prevent and combat violence against children, young people and women and to protect victims and groups at risk.

The total of the available EU grant is about 25 millions euro for funding project focused on the following topics:

- Rights of victims of violence;

- Violence linked to harmful practices;

- Children as victmis and perpetrators of violence;

- Perpetrator programmes for professionals in contact with victims;

- Empowerment work at gross-roots level;

- Media violence, particularly violence linked to new technology and social networking tools.

The deadline for the project submission is the 29.03.2012.
