PROGRESS: Call for proposals for social experimentations 2011

The EU Commission has launched the call for proposals for social experimentations in the framework of the Annual Work Programme 2011 of the Programme PROGRESS.

This call on social experimentations intends to improve the quality and effectiveness of social policies and to facilitate their adaptation to new social needs and societal challenges. Selected projects have to contribute to developing and testing socially innovative approaches to policy priorities in the context of the Europe 2020 Strategy and the Open Method of Coordination on social protection and social inclusion.

 
This call is accessible to stakeholders from all PROGRESS participating countries, including the EFTA countries, the candidate countries and the pre-candidate countries. The social experimentation projects shall include partnerships between different stakeholders that are involved in the various stages of the process: public bodies, local authorities, civil society, private sector, academic sector, social partners etc
 
The deadline for the projects submission is the 15th of December 2011.
